The Pir Mehar Ali Shah - Hazrat Pir Syed Mehar Ali Shah Gilani (پیر مﮩرعلى شاه ) was born 14 April 1859 (1 Ramadan, 1275 A.H.) in Golra Sharif, which is located between Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Pakistan. He was renowned as a Sufi saint, a great Hanafi scholar and a famous sufi poet of Persian and Punjabi & Urdu. He died on May 11, 1937 .
